CJ888 0 #1 February 14, 2004 I'm in a general coaching class in college where we need to teach the class a skill of our choice including the biomechanical breakdown of the skill. I am a very novice skydiver, I have only gone 9 times, but I would really like to teach the class the basics of ground school. Problem is, it's been 3 years since ground school and I cannot find any information anywhere. Any tips?
AggieDave 6 #2 February 14, 2004 Although you're in Canadia you could still use the USPA's SIM (Skydiver Information Manual) and follow the outline for a FJC that's set forth there. That's what I used to teach the course when I was teaching them, it has all the information you'll need. http://www.uspa.org--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." ZoneRat 0 #4 February 15, 2004 eh. Just make stuff up. They won't know it's wrong. ___ or you might look through the videos on the gear section here at DZ.com. Which video is it? Basic Body Flight? There's a couple videos out there that do a great job of breaking down how CG and air flow work on a skydiver. Something like that would help him out, I reckon.“There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophies.”
