skydivingchad 0 #1 July 12, 2004 I sat around the DZ all day saturday and didn't get to jump (all the coaches were tied up). On sunday my wife was going to do her first AFF jump at Chambersburg and I just need to get my check dive for my A license. It was pretty overcast so I just sat around waiting for the weather to clear while she was training. My wife was getting pretty antsy wanting to get her jump over with. Finally a big hole opened up and you could see blue skies for the first time all day. With just enough people to get the King Air flying I did my check jump and got my A license Thanks to everyone at Chambersburg from both myself (chad) and my wife (jen) Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug. peregrinerose 0 #4 July 13, 2004 I second Chad's post. Though I have to admit, as much as I loved the skydive, the best part was landing and looking up to see the sheer pride on Chad's face :-) I don't know if any Chambersburgers read here, but thank you SO MUCH!! To Bill #1 and Jamie for being great coaches and keeping me calm (in my head I was an anxiety attack waiting to happen!). And to Bill #2 for guiding me in for a great landing so I didn't fall on my face in front of Chad. And mostly to Chad, for never pushing me into trying this over the past year, just patiently waiting until I was ready to do it myself. And for introducing me to the sport to begin with, I never considered it before (not for lack of wanting to do it, just never popped into my head as an option) My first skydive will definitely not be my last!
