NoShitThereIWas 0 #26 June 18, 2004 I've bought Mom a few tandems ... I keep trying to convince Dad to come out and make an AFF jump, still working on that one. As for Dakota, she already likes to creep and dirt dive with my 4 way team. She will join us occasionally and asks when can she go skydiving. I think she will probably want to be like her mama and papa. Whatever she becomes in life, I think she will also be a skydiver and a pilot.Roy Bacon: "Elvises, light your fires." FlyinNover 0 #27 June 18, 2004 My first tandem was a Christmas present from my parents when I was 17. My birthday is in July, so I waited 7 months. During that time, my Dad, my brother, both of my sister, and my parent's friend "Uncle" Bod decided to jump too. (One of my sisters was a jumper already.) It was incredible sharing that with my whole family, even if Mom was content to just watch. I'm planning on buying my Dad another tandem for his 60th. I wonder, what is the record for the largest formation of skydivers who are related? ---Nover

riggerquo 0 #29 June 18, 2004 Both of my daughters, ages 23 and 20 are now licensed jumpers. They got their licenses together two summers ago. It is absolutely wonderful to be able to share the experience with them - the jumping as well as the DZ social life.
