Tunnel Headdown

Recommended Posts

I probably already had 20 hours in the tunnel (mostly belly), and then spent about 45 minutes in three 15 minute sessions with Joe and Rusty. Around that time I started to "bounce" off the net on my head but could not fly. I then tried daffy and after about 3 tries was up and stable. Transitions (front and back) to HD came quickly thereafter.

I never jumped HD until after learning in the tunnel and found myself doing 5 way HD on my third jump.

I would say overall though that HD takes about 4-5 times as long to learn as sit in the tunnel and requires much better spotting and "bailing" technique to avoid tracking into a wall.

Attached picture is right after I got it. Definately the best feeling in the tunnel!
