Jen1129 0 #1 May 18, 2004 This Saturday I got my 100th jump, and also my SCR!! Here are a couple pictures... as well as one from my 1st jump for amusement. The jump was a blast... thanks Marie for organizing, Jonathan for video and pictures, and Mark, Darcy, Lito, George, Bart, Erin, and Marie for going on this jump with me! (And yes, I bought beer, and Darcy pied me... thanks...)

Shark 0 #3 May 18, 2004 Hi Jen! Congratulations!!!! That was quite an accomplishment! I especially like the second pic... surrounded by your 2 favorite skydivers. The 7 way star pic is pretty good, too! BTW, if anyone is wondering, Jonathan took that snapshot before he docked to make it an 8 way, in which case he earns an SCS and we get more beer. ChrisL 2 #4 May 18, 2004 Congrats! At the same time you were making your 100th jump, your man was over here jumping with me. He told me that you were probably making #100 as we spoke and wished he could have been there with you. Hopefully you can participate in his #100 in the very near future We did get an awesome 16,000 ft jump in though. Ya dont get that high every day __ My mighty steed
skyyhi 0 #5 May 18, 2004 Yeah, it was fun. . .I took Bart out twice and never actually completed the formation. The camera guy, JT, did the completion. I got to buy beer for my first 8-way. Glad I didn't ruin it for Jen. . . Congratulations Jen. . .I'm next. . .lol________________________________________ Take risks not to escape life… but to prevent life from escaping. ~ A bumper sticker at the DZ FGF #6 Darcy

Let me know when you return from Europe, Jen, so we can pass the Barbie. Edited for typos!
Jen1129 0 #8 May 18, 2004 Thanks everyone... Mark, thanks for the encouragement... support from you and the other instructors is a big reason I made it to 100... Chris, I heard about that 16000 foot jump... but I still like my DZ better, yours has too many trees. Darcy, I was happy you were on the jump with me! You'll have to get video of your 100th since I probably won't be back in time... Rosa, LOL, it does look like I am missing clothes on my 1st jump, but I was wearing a tanktop since the jump was in Hawaii!

Whats a "SCR"? Star Crest... something? Don't remember what the R stands for. Anyway, it's building an 8-way round after an exit with no grips. I believe part of the SCR ceremony says something like "you are a crappy ass skydiver and the only reason you accomplished this is because everyone else on the jump was skygods." Definitely true in my case considering there were 5 instructors and one more person with 1000+ jumps... And Mark, Marie gets the credit for organizing the jump and especially for putting up with my whining about "but I want a biiiigger jump and I want viiiiiideoooo..."
