ACMESkydiver 0 #1 May 20, 2004 Ha haa, Ok I'll post my own stupidity so perhaps you all can get a laugh... Hop n' pop. I throw out and >SMACK< something hits the back of my arm just above the elbow on the left side and stings like HELL...I have no clue what it is until I'm back in the jump center and ask a very experienced jumper to look at the mark on the back of my arm (I was jumping in a t-shirt). It's circular and has a curved outline around it. Turns out the grommet from my flap left it's mark on my arm..lazy position on deploy, I had my left arm down and back a smidge as I threw out... I guess it was my gear's way of saying my body position sucked... Yeah we were laughing that day that I got spanked by an Icon...
