dmbale 0 #1 May 10, 2004 Did my 100th jump yesterday. Not bad for starting AFF October 10th at Skydive the Rockies. It is great that Bob has the DZ run year round and that most of my jumps have been from the Caravan....okay so I am a little spoiled. I have done all but two of my jumps at SDTR. ChrisL 2 #2 May 10, 2004 Congrats on 100. Just hit that mark a few days ago myself. Cold is no real issue as long as you dress properly and you arent a wuss :-) We had -15 F (neg) at 13,500 one day in January. I wasnt uncomfortably cold.__ My mighty steed
CanuckInUSA 0 #3 May 10, 2004 Congrats on your 100th and yes CO is a pretty darn good place to jump. The rest of the country seems to think that we are snow bound and closed all of the time and therefore think CO is a bad place to be, but there is no accident that you have done 100 jumps since October or me with my jump numbers in my relatively low time in the sport. Well if that's the case, then maybe you should go elsewhere as most of the time, there is no snow on the ground here on the front range during the winter months. bertusgeert 1 #6 May 10, 2004 Sweetness, I didnt know there are people on here that jump at SDTR! I packed there last summer, and left just before you started AFF. Who was your instructors? Adriaan is coming in tommorow, and I cant wait to get back out there. Next week hopefully, and i'll stay for quite a while. I hope Andre can make it back out here soon. Friggin visas. And yes, Bob is quite the rocking DZO! Sweet DZ, I love it. --------------------------------------------- As jy dom is moet jy bloei!
dmbale 0 #7 May 10, 2004 My instructors were Tony R, Bob, and Rusty for AFF. Grant has coached me on canopy. Adriaan did the photos for my tandem. When Adriaan and Andre left last year, I had three jumps. I am there every weekend, hope to see you!

RkyMtnHigh 0 #9 May 10, 2004 I really wish I got some jumps in at SDTR before leaving Colorado. I've heard so much about it and actually the drive was the same for me to go north to MileHi or south to SDTR. Congrats on your 100th! _________________________________________

Don't tell everyone how nice the weather is here. They'll all want to move hereMay your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. CanuckInUSA 0 #12 May 10, 2004 From a skydiving point of view, I would think that attracting skydivers from around the country and across the world would be a good thing? We don't need any more whuffos here (there's already too many of them), but don't we need more skydivers? However for some reason, most people here on DZ.COM seem to think that CO is a crappy place to be, so maybe Eric's plan is working anyway. Fly it like you stole it!

I LOVE jumping here in the CLOUDY RAINEY NASTY WEATHER in SEATTLE year round. And I think we need to set a limit on the number of wuffo family members too. And maybe a CRW requirement.
