piisfish 140 #2 May 6, 2004 I paid a couple of wine bottles, cause the jump was freescissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
CanuckInUSA 0 #3 May 6, 2004 I just paid $75 last Sunday for a balloon jump and I got 5400 feet. Keeping in mind that I used a wingsuit and a friend video taped the jump, it was well worth the $$$. That wingsuit jump out of a balloon was one of the most wild and crazy things I have done (the video was posted on skydivingmovies.com). I can't wait to try it again. diablopilot 2 #6 May 6, 2004 I used to pay $5, but now the local service charges $60 I think. Not worth much more to me.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
Shotgun 1 #7 May 6, 2004 I paid $50 here in Perris, though it looks like it's gone up to $60 now. They only took us to about 3-3.5K though. (But it was still one of my favorite jumps ever!)
VectorBoy 0 #8 May 7, 2004 I've paid in the 65 to 75 dollar range for my handfull. I am planning to do more. Burner in Arizona comes highly recommended. I wish we had something like his service out here. Do a jump you will love the balloon. You won't get his level service from a company that would rather make their money from wuffo tourists at lower altitudes.
BillyVance 34 #9 May 9, 2004 Quote$79 at WFFC What year? If I remember correctly, my balloon jump at the 1997 convention was $55. Hell, everything has gone up lately, even Mullins can't afford to offer the $99 boogies anymore. I'd have to go digging through some old files (if I can even find them), but I believe the Balloon has been 89$ since 2000.----- ~~~Michael
