bertusgeert 1 #1 February 23, 2004 Going down to Florida March 14 - 21, and wondering if tunnel time would be a good idea. I have 23 jumps, and I'm goin to DeLand. Would tunnel time be a good thing, or a waste of money at this point? How long before do i need to register the time, and how much would it be? Thanx all. --------------------------------------------- As jy dom is moet jy bloei!
ladyskydiver 0 #2 February 23, 2004 Absolutely a good idea!!! Call immediately to see if time is available. Make sure you get a coach and tunnel time would not be a waste. xavenger 0 #4 February 23, 2004 All in my opinion. I went to the tunnel in Florida for some 1 on 1 coaching when I had about 30 jumps and it was well worth the visit, time and money. I came away a little unsure about exactly how helpful the tunnel had been .. but .. The next time I skydived I was 100% better at slow-fall / fast-fall and 100% better at turns. And forgetting all that stuff the tunnel is a heap of FUN in it's own right! However, I would telephone Skyventure pretty soon if u r thinking of going, because in my experience they tend to get booked up quite quickly this time of year. MarkM 0 #5 February 23, 2004 Same good experience as the others above. Went when I had 17 jumps and only about 40 seconds freefall experience and learned a crapload in the tunnel. Get a good coach and have them show you new skills and evaluate/critique your current ones.
