jumpingjoe 0 #1 February 12, 2004 There was lots of talks about a wind tunnel opening in NJ. Does anyone have any additional information about that? It was suppose to open in January but here we are in February now.

jb092 0 #4 February 12, 2004 I heard so many different rumors and nothing comes of any of them. We will just have to wait and see What could possibly go wrong?
arlo 0 #5 February 12, 2004 direct from skyventure corporate office as of 1:08pm EST: skyventure project is currently on hold. skyventure is ready to proceed, but the facility at which skyventure will be built (that extreme park) is in limbo right now. so bottom line is, right now we (skyventure) can't do anything until they (extreme park) do something. hope this answers that question with a period instead of a question mark. :) arlo

SkydivinMedic 0 #7 February 13, 2004 I actually called there about a month ago!! I left a message & one of their managers, aguy named Collin actually called me back the next day. He didn't give any reasons why, but he said it won't be up & running until late fall of this year. So, I am sure it is probably safe to say that it won't be open until 2005???? bunge 0 #8 February 13, 2004 I was bored and it was too windy to jump last week, so i looked up the address listed on the website http://www.xarenasports.com and sent mapquest to work. Drove 40 min to Trenton, and................found a VERY empty lot, not even a construction trailer, in a not so pretty section of town. BUNGE I don't hate them, I just like us better. rogue108 0 #9 February 14, 2004 If they ever break ground on the project, it might happen. Doesn't look too promising
ltdiver 3 #10 February 14, 2004 They had an extreme sports park slated for Anaheim, CA a few years back. It went belly up due to a lack of support from the immediate vacinity citizens. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
Bodyflight.Net 0 #11 February 16, 2004 We made contact with the Zero Gravity tunnel on January 21st. They, as arlo confirmed, are waiting on the Xarena park to begin construction. They are hopeful to make it by this fall.
