carbonezone 0 #13 January 31, 2004 <> Geez you kids think its tough out there huh.. Test jumping parachutes was only half the battle.... Then they starting dropping me on my head to test Head-Gear! There is a reason why I still wear funny little helmet "this particular helmet made my head permanently shaped like a CONE" I was also a lot taller before those jumps too! Amazon 7 #14 February 1, 2004 Nah gotta be back east somewhere.. no Conifers in the picture.. those trees are way too short for around here. I am used to those 100'plus suckers that grow around here with all this freakin rain. The ones even over along the river to the north are at least that high.. and they are huge cottonwoods and Alders. But there are still plenty of the really tall fir trees.. and when I go down to Kapowsin.. plenty of big fir trees there too. Hey I talked to Charlie Markin today about this years Green Meet. Apparently they are thinking about doing it in Aug with the 50th year celebration of the Seattle Skydivers. Come on over and jump some of the old club gear...I just want them to let me jump it at the airport so I can go for the peas under the sport T-10's
Jumpervint 0 #15 February 1, 2004 Hey, cool. As a former VP of the club, I'll have to make that load. My last jump in Snohomish was in 1986. Think it's changed any? Keep me posted on the dates, although you can tell me at Lost Prairie. I'm already saving for that. Vint. . . . . "Make it hard again."
