schattenjaeger 0 #1 November 30, 2003 It's about an hour for me:( If I had picked another college I had been interested in, it'd be like half that, but I wasn't doing this at that time
scottjaco 0 #2 November 30, 2003 90 minutes from Los Angeles. Eastbound, I can go to Perris/Elsinore. If I want to got North it's still 90 minutes to Skydive Taft or Cal City. Any way you go your screwed! I don't understand why they can't open a dropzone in Valencia out by Six Flags. That would be so convinient! It's wide open land and it's close in! I know land is expensive but look at Skydive San Diego, they are really close to the city! scott
TALONSKY 0 #3 November 30, 2003 I live 1 mile from the DZ and 40 miles to my job. The commute to and from work is so worth being this close to the DZ. Kirk

BigM 2 #18 November 30, 2003 Depending on which DZ I go to, it's 2:00 - 2:45 one way. And I have driven that far knowing I was only going to be able to get in just one jump. Yep, I am a sad individual. I just drove to the DZ this past Friday, got there about 10:00 a.m. and stayed until Saturday night. Got in a whopping 2 jumps- only 2 loads that went up- due to the wind.
