32 jumps, including 8 tandems, 1 ambulance ride & overnight in hospital, 2 long breaks (one from fear, the other just circumstance) and 2 incredible instructors who never gave up on me and believed in me when I didn't - I can't believe I finally did it!!!
The feeling is soooo sweet - now I know why I do it! Don't you just LOVE this sport?!

Just being nosey, what caused the ambulance ride?

AFF Stage 7 back in May, TA'd into bad place, had to flare a bit late to miss the tree and didn't PLR (froze in terror) so landed hard on my feet and as my knees hit I jarred my back real good. Luckily there was no permanent injury and I was back in the air 2 weeks later. That was my last TA'd jump, too, because I learnt I was depending on it far too much and it was time to take responsibility for myself.
