mantebi 0 #1 November 20, 2003 If you have 5000 + jumps, I would like 5-6 sentences about your ultimate advice to intermediate jumpers regarding general safety. This is to be published in PIER MEDIA's book: The Skydiver's Survival Guide (2nd Edition). ----------------------- This assignment may sound slightly vague so I am enclosing a sample below. In addition, I need you to email a picture and a brief bio with your jump experience and jump number. please email me your image and text to : marcusantebi@aol.com ------------------------------ sample: John Grimlad D-10967 6500 jumps First Jump 1989 "I've seen more friends get hurt or go in making dangerously low turns intentionally and unintentionally. Never execute a turn you can't recover from beforeimpacting the ground"! If you are learning how to do high performance landings, understand the risks. Learn from experienced people. Take your time. Hook turns are learned over thousands of jumps."
towerrat 0 #2 November 21, 2003 not to sound like a heel, but I think you are in the wrong place. There are very few people who post here with the numbers you are looking for. Anyone care to correct me? I personally feel that everyone has something to offer. Unfortunatly, you are going to have to make personal interviews on several dropzones to get what you are looking for.Play stupid games, win stupid prizes! bodypilot1 0 #4 November 21, 2003 Unfortunatly towerrat may be right as to getting what you looking for on this venue. Many people in here I've found dont have the jump numbers your looking for, but a few do. A better way to find what your looking for may be contacting an organizer such as Kate Cooper, Roger Ponce or someone that has a pool of jumpers on a list with those kinds of jumps? They knows alot of skydivers with those jump numbers and may be able to help? We are going to be in Thailand this Jan and Feb with World Team doing a new large formation world record and I know alot of us will be there with those jump numbers and experience your looking for, so you may want to contact BJ Worth about a list of people you can contact? In the meantime I'll try and ad something to your question. Blue Skies, Edwww.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
