BravestDog 0 #1 November 17, 2003 I heard from a person who said he went to a vertical wind tunnel in Sacramento, CA. Is there a wind tunnel there and do you know it's website address? Thankyou
Nightingale 0 #2 November 17, 2003 I thought the only tunnels were in Florida, and the new one in Perris... may have been a portable one, tho.
ianmdrennan 2 #3 November 18, 2003 Nope - there's a couple around (vegas, TN). They're not the skyventure tunnels though and are the indoor flyaway skydiving tunnels (both I believe?) which aren't nearly as nice as the skyventure models. bodypilot1 0 #4 November 18, 2003 Quote Is there a wind tunnel there and do you know it's website address? No there is not a wind tunnel in Sacramento. There is one coming to the Bay Area this summer though. It's going to open in the San Jose area, but I dont remember exactly where the guy thats building it, told me he was looking to building it? It will be a SkyVenture tunnel, so maybe you can contact them on ther web site at SkyVenture.com to find more info about it I'm sure. I thought it was great. I was struggling with AFF but with 60 minutes in the tunnel I should have no more problems; I can fly like a bird. Any Sacramento jumpers who would know if there is a tunnel in Sacramento. The person whom I spoke to convinced me he had jumped in a tunnel, and I questioned him in detail about the facility so he had convinced me that is is real.
