Kaz 0 #1 November 10, 2003 What was meant to be a 1 month break from jumping ended up being 4 months (not injury related) but I finally jumped again on Saturday. I was more scared than my first jump and this was my 28th. Did another one on Sunday. I have never felt confident under canopy before but I actually had FUN and was smiling the whole way to landing. Landed 28m from the target......I can just feel my A licence won't be too far away now! Anyone else taken a break and then really wanted to jump again but after gearing up you are looking for every excuse to get out of it? lolKaz Never ever ever give up

samhussey 0 #3 November 10, 2003 Yeah, I spent the summer with no money (less than usual!), and no weekends free for jumping, so I had no continuity A quick refresher on emergency drills and the nerves pretty much disappeared (specially when I looked out the window at 5K and remembered why I'd started skydiving in the first place!) Now it's winter and another long layoff lies ahead...
