Blahr 0 #1 November 3, 2003 Before today it had been 8 years since my last jump. Tonight its only been a few hours since my last jump! Took my new gear up and got my knees back in the breeze! Did a 2 way refresher with my former instructor. It was VERY nice! All went very well and I'm cleared for regular jumpin! I'm told that there was no rust flying off of me By the time I was repacked it clouded up and began to rain which it did for the rest of the day. Bah! Oh well at least I got that one in, and theres many a jump ahead of me now! No more waiting! Cheers!

crwmike 0 #7 November 3, 2003 Were you surprised at how comfortable you felt in the air? I was ...amazed actually. I was off for 8 years and was delighted at how ...natural it felt to be back in FF after all that time. Tight, controlled turns, backloops and tracking ...like my last jump had been last weekend rather than eight years before. Welcome back, brother! wmw999 2,534 #9 November 3, 2003 Congratulations from another left-and-came-back type. It's awesome, isn't it? Katzeye 0 #10 November 3, 2003 You're an inspiration! I've been off for almost a year now. Just because I'm a chicken... and I don't like the DZ here (the people are great, the winds SUCK). I hope it won't be 8 years, but it's always great to hear about re-currencies and that I might be back sometime soon too. ********CONGRATULATIONS************ LA* Is a chicken omelette redundant?
