USPA Q?

Recommended Posts

The regulatory agency for skydiving in this country is the FAA. They publish regulations (laws) about skydiving, which are really not that restrictive. They do not require a USPA membership.

As previously posted, most DZs in this country are USPA Group Members, which means they are committed to upholding the Basic Guidelines USPA poublishes to make skydiving safe and enjoyable for all of us. At USPA Group Member DZs, you will be asked to join USPA at some point in your training to continue skydiving there. At my DZ students are asked to apply for at least a 45-day temporary membership before making their first AFF jump.

USPA has many benefits, which you can read about at the USPA website

Hope this helps!
