apoil 0 #2 September 12, 2003 QuoteCheck out the World Skydiving meet in France, at omniskore.com. Great Action! -Rap Brings up a question.. I thought that this was the meet where each country only enters one team as opposed to the world cup where any number of teams can compete.. So how come there are three French Freefly teams? Two of them currently holding second and third place. Does France get some benefit by being the host country? Can only one of their teams be official with all others having "guest" ie "non medal" status?
Samurai136 0 #3 September 12, 2003 I know. I was trying to figure the scoring for Freeflying. I read the FAI/WPC rules and I'm confused why in the second compulsory round all the scores were around a 1. I thought the scores were the judging panel's average on a 10 pt scale. Unutsch 0 #4 September 12, 2003 we had a French FAI approved judge for the artistic events (mr. Bernard Garsault) here in Slovenia in July for our 1st nationals, and we spent 2 nights together where he tried to explain me the scoring rules... well, at that time i though i knew what he was talking about, but right now, only a couple of months (and some beer and other stuff that makes you ) later, i know nothing but i guess it'r really simple once you figure it out Check out the site of the Fallen Angels FreeflY Organisation: http://www.padliangeli.org

Round 5 was basically a speed round (how many points in time) and they just divided the number by 10. So to score, say 8.1 on round 5 you'd have to make 81 points! As I said, STUPID!... Samurai136 0 #6 September 12, 2003 I get it. Man, that's the strangest way to score freeflying. A point is a point...Ken"Buttons aren't toys." - Trillian Ken
rapper4mpi 0 #7 September 15, 2003 Each country can send the top three finishers per event to the world meet. So in essence, Alchemy and the two Arizona teams from Nationals could have gone. Unfortunatly, our country does'nt sponsor teams the same way other countries do. It costs a lot to go! -Rap
