markus71 0 #1 August 9, 2003 Four years ago I had a skydivng accident and since that day I am paralized (L3/4). After trying all kind of sports I have to go back in the air again. I already did a tandem jump and felt like coming home! I also was in the wind tunnel and had no problems. The only problem I have is the landing. I will not be able to walk / run. Maybe Gabby has an idea, she posted a message four month ago, but hast left her e-mail address. I you have any idea, thank you. You would make me the happiest skydiver alive... hope to see you in the air...

Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. karlm 0 #4 August 11, 2003 Your story sound so familier, we have a jumper at our DZ that was paralyzed due to a accident, he has now returned to skydiving, with the help and guidance of our CI and a good rigger who made a suit to assist him in freefall and landings. Contact Tonto at Johannesburg Skydiving Club www.jsc.co.za Better never to have met you in my dream than to wake and reach for hands that are not there. StevePhelps 0 #5 August 11, 2003 Sounds a little like my friend Jim Rice. I bought his old rig. He was rendered a quadraplegic (auto accident) years ago. A frequent skydiver before that, Jim longed for the sky. He made a tandem with no problems and dreams of doing a solo one day. (He says he would land purposely in the water (with a floatation device). Sounds crazy, but Jim may pull it off one day.
