SkydiveNFlorida 0 #1 July 28, 2003 Went up to Skydive Sebastian this wknd. As some of you know, last wknd I did levels 1 & 2. This wknd I did level 3 twice (lost alti awareness the first time, and had to be told to pull), then level 4. And on Sunday I did levels 5,6 & 7! Now, just my hop n pop left, i'm feeling major confident and am having a blast! My butt hurts a bit from a hard landing on Sunday, I had some turbulence, and didn't deal with it well I suppose. But, I stood up a couple of jumps, and that felt great! Ok, just wanted to update you all... I'm so proud! :D can't wait to go back for my hop n pop and get my completion certificate... I hear i'm buying everyone beer, too, so i'd better bring extra cash Angela.

SkydiveNFlorida 0 #5 July 28, 2003 Thanks guys!! Yeah, they didn't help me on one of the landings, and I flared too late... hence, the pain in my tailbone. He told me he'd like to leave me on the radio for a few more jumps. That's cool with me. I'm still getting used to landing, that is where i've had the worst problems. Freefall has been great! Love the back loop, that is so freakin' cool! I wasn't sure if i'd even done it, but they said I did. haha. Can't wait to get back in freefall! Angela. Muenkel 0 #7 July 28, 2003 Out of 6 AFF jumps so far, I haven't stood up a jump yet and that was with radio. Nice job. Chris _________________________________________ Chris
sunnydee123 0 #8 July 28, 2003 Congrats you! You are kicking butt!! Freefall was my down side during AFF and I repeated level 3 and 4 (ouchie to the pocket ) but I rocked under canopy. Everyone said my opinion of freefall would change and it has/did. It is ALL good stuff and I seem to find more and more reasons to love this sport. I'm also glad to think there will be another girl to play with around the DZ. Heck - I might even pull out the RW suit for a new pal - if ya want a jump partner but cute girls get lots of offers so let me know Talk to you soon. D Dreams become reality, one choice at a time... And, I would be delighted to be your jump partner! hehe. It was great meeting you, certainly hope to see you again very soon! Thanks to all for the kind words! I am really on cloud 9, this whole thing has been an amazing experience. Yeah, Bill, I know what you mean. Already it is getting better every time! I feel like I have more time in freefall, where at the beginning, it felt like 60 seconds had gone by in about 15 seconds! I might not make it out there next weekend, I have to study for finals and i'm a bit strapped for cash, but i'll definitely be out there on the 9th, so if anyone is out there, definitely come say hi! There's always Sunday to study... heheh. Awe man, i'm addicted! I'm finding it hard to not go up... i've got the jump jones! I'll let you know for sure by Thursday. Well next you'll start to loose your whuffo friends (maybe) unless they hang around for all the guys. Are you driving your co workers nuts talking about jumping? poohbeer 0 #22 July 30, 2003 QuoteCongrats you! You are kicking butt!! Freefall was my down side during AFF and I repeated level 3 and 4 (ouchie to the pocket ) but I rocked under canopy. Same here, I'm having MAJOR problems with the freefall part but canopy is great.. NEVER used radio (forgot it on first jump but didn't need it apparantly) and I believe my 2nd (could be 3rd) landing was already a standup followed by 2 others in the 6 jumps I've made. Wish it was the other way.. freefall is expensive with al those instructors arround Congrats to the impressive progress. *green with envy* ------- SIGNATURE BELOW ------- Complete newbie at skydiving, so be critical about what I say!! SkydiveNFlorida 0 #23 July 30, 2003 Bill, haha! Funny you should mention it.. that is pretty much the only way I get company on my trip is cuz of all the dz hotties. haha. Life seems so boring, the work week is such an annoying dive interrupter! Poohbeer, everyone has their strengths and weaknesses I suppose. I sure wish I was better under canopy. I haven't got problems steering, but I have a depth perception problem which prevents me from flaring at the correct time, lol!! I can tell you this much, I damn sure better get it right this weekend, cuz my poor butt isn't feeling better yet from last, and another landing on it would hurt like hell!! Angela.
