LouYoung 0 #1 September 25, 2003 I was doing some reading on DZ.com and found the SkyVentures press release that mentioned the construction of a tunnel financed and under way in Phoenix. The press release was Spring-ish 2002. So I did some other searching on the site and the most recent post I can find regarding the Phoenix tunnel is from January 2003 where people are talking about trying to get tunnel jobs. I've never seen any evidence of a tunnel here and a check at the SkyVentures website revealed that they don't even have a tunnel in Phoenix listed as "under-construction." BikerBabe 0 #4 September 26, 2003 I believe it was a funding problem (it always is) Last I heard, they actually had a signed agreement with the Native Americans to build on their land, near the big casino/Firebird speedway in Chandler.
