Two questions

Our college skydiving club always does demo jumps onto a large field at the beginning of every school year. This field is very close to 500,000 square feet, and so could be considered "open field."
I have noticed that for less than 500,000 square feet requires a D liscense, and for over 500,000 ft a D liscense is only recommended. How hard is it to get the notam for C liscensed jumpers doing demos into an open field, and with the new liscense requirements needing 200 jumps for a C, will it still require/recommend a D liscense for demo jumps, open field or not?
