Explain a picture in Parachutist to me

In the June issue of Parachutist (I just got mine today), there is a picture that made me do a double look (Page 50). Can someone plese comment and explain this? Did this guy do this for a reason, or did he just fall out of his rig trying to swoop? I hope it didn't hurt too much.

Maybe hit and rock. Accuracy landing, take your rig off, and run to the rocking chair. For POPS, SOS etc. Have to admit this is about the earliest I've seen someone get out of a rig.

Thats the hit n rock comp...it's accuracy then they get out of there rig as fast as they can to go rock in a rocking chair....have you ever seen a hit n chug? same thing...

If you do the hit&chug correctly, you pick up the beer just as you land and finish your toggle stroke.

If you do the hit&chug incorrectly, you plow into the table and knock your beer over.

There's a very fine line between the two.

There's usually no need to get out of your rig.

That works better with no wind. Take off the chest strap before you land and after you finish flairing, you can simply step out of your rig. -- then run over and sit in the chair or grab your beer... which ever.

It looks like the wind made that one a tad more difficult to get out of :)
