i just started AFF, but my gf and i always seem to have issues with my activities... i race mt bikes a lot and pretty well, and i rarely if ever get a pat on the ass, a clap, or a kiss or something. not that i am a glory hog, but some recognition for my commitment (and that its good to be with a guy that knows how to push himself/commit to something) would be nice. we go on and off time to time solely for that reason... she doesn't much care about me dropping from a plane either

I couldn't be with someone who didn't support my activities. I bungee jump and snowboard too, so if they're concerned about my "safety" and try to get me to quit, then they're going to be cutaway mighty fast! My b.f. was sweet this past weekend.. though he still doesn't compliment my awesome jumping (and NO, I don't suck!), it's cool. You guys make me smile.

Not all lads know what to say to compliment their other half i know that cos i keep saying soppy love things to my lad and he doesnt know how to say stuff like that back although he does say he loves me and i know he does it's just hard for sum lads to compliment.

Mainly cos they are scared if they say sumthign wrong then they willl be in trouble. lol


But then again u said he didint pay u any compliments at all my lad does he'll tell me if i look good and stuff but then again i dont jump i just admire those who do.

Stay with him dont let this ruin your relationship he will love u just doesnt know how tell u.

awww, i am sorry! I must be one of the lucky ones. My bf got me into skydiving (he lurks around dz.com all the time, but doesn't post - leave it to his newbie gf to be all outspoken...) but he compliments me all the time. I am pretty new to the sport, and he got into it last year, but it was his idea to get me into it, and lets me know what he loves about me and me jumping all the time (well, he also helps me a lot and points out what I could have done better, too, but that's what I love). Good luck girlie! Let him know what he needs to do!
