Viking 0 #6 May 7, 2003 no its not in TJ its Six miles north, you can see TJ from jumprun, along with SD Harbor and on a clear day Several of the coastal Islands! Its got a GREAT veiw and winds are allways out of the west! Only down side is the landing is between three high peaks and a lake right there. But the drive out there kicks ass if you like blasting around corners at a quick pace!Thats cool that Mike is coming to SD, the last time i was there he was on a load.I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin

greggfah 0 #9 May 8, 2003 It's actually about 5 miles north of Brown Field at Nichols Field. It is a private airport that is right on the edge of the Otay mountains and Chula Vista. (Pronounced O-tie) It's a beautiful place to jump... Ocean & Downtown Views as well as landing in the Otay Valley. The DZ has a Super Otter and a Skyvan is on the way... gregg

JamesNahikian 0 #11 May 8, 2003 It was such an obvious study in contrasts that I couldn't resist making a wisecrack. I hope to jump there someday, and having Mike Ortiz there is yet another incentive to do so. D. James Nahikian CHICAGO
