I even got one PM from an AWESOME skychick who's had enough, and is selling her gear. So tell a skydiver chick she rocks! Try assuming she knows what she's doing as much as, or more than you, and treat her with due respect. ThighMan 5 #8 April 30, 2003 My first Skydiving Mentor is a woman (Flyangel2) and she licks, I mean KICKS ASS. Lots of love Mary... If guys can't handle the pressure, PHUCK them. I love jumping and the people that are in the sport. From the low timer (we all have been there and I still am) to the SKY GOD (DESS). Thanks for everything. P.S. Especially the extra altitude... FallinWoman 1 #9 April 30, 2003 You are totally right, Jessica! And you rock, too. I think this sport has come a long way in terms of accepting women as equals, but we still have a ways to go. There is certainly an element of the "good old boys" club left. We do need to support each other. I always try to seek out the female students and give them a little extra attention and support. I make sure that they know about the after hours plans. I do what I can to make sure that they are comfortable enough to come back and keep jumping.
