I just got contactet by a local Newspaper who is going to do a Tandem jump this weekend. The reporter asked for ten reasons to skydive.

Anyone got som funny reasons (or not so funny) - pleas post them here:)

I used to always have those dreams where I was flying like a bird. I had to know what it actually felt like.

Ok, so it's pink, but I'm secure in my manhood, and I still look cool coming in under it!

1. It is one of the best feelings in the world (only beaten by some great sex)
2. For one minute you are free, you can do spins fly head down,sit or anything you could imagine
3. Some really cool scenery, on the right day the clouds are awesome
4. On the right day you can fly through huge valleys in the clouds fly over and even touch a cloud
5. Canopy flight can rival any amusement park ride with the right canopy.

it's great therapy -- every time you make a successfual skydive (one where you live ), you literally say, "my life is worth saving," and then you save it.

Because it's a way to challenge yourself on every jump, on many levels. In the beginning, you challenge your fear. Then your ability to master basic, big movements. And the challenge grows and changes with your experience.

It's a family for some types of people.

It's also a lot more interesting than golf
