My DZ (Hibaldstow) offers jump tickets at £16.50 each or £150.00 for ten
good value for 15000ft every lift and usually 16000ft
had two out of the last three dives from 16000ft
They also have Three turbine aircraft with inflight doors and heaters that work.
(its still cold here in england) :)

I have seen a TON of different DZ type discounts. As far as the credit card discounts you mention, I've heard that in Iowa it is illegal to charge differently for credit or cash. So either way the jumper is protected.

We have a nice system. You pay $50 to be a club member. Your first 50 jumps (to 9.5 out of Cessna 206) are $11. After that, you pay only $9 per jump. If you choose not to pay club fees, you pay $13 per jump.

SO, if you become a member you are essentially jumping for...

jumps 1 thru 50: $11 + $50/50 = 12 bucks

after that, jumps 51 thru 500+++, only $9 per jump

I like those numbers! :)

W've got a number of different discounts around depending on the local DZ. Free jump for bringing a tandem, is usually a standard.
Jump till you drop days, 150 Cdn.
Bulk skydive sales, eg
pay 500 get 525 on account
up to pay 2500 get 2900 on account. Cash only.

I do love discounts on jumping!!!!B|

I like the idea of the club membership which in turn gets you cheaper rates. I jump at a 3 cessna DZ. I think this would be the only way to get discouts ar our type of DZ. I say that because we jump from all different altitudes depending on the weather. I don't see how we could work out a block of jump tickets since jumps to diffent altitudes are different prices. Does anyone have suggestions??

On our DZ, if you are a member (EUR 100/yr) you get 1 EUR off every jump, no matter the altitude (we jump from 3.5k/5k/7k/9k/12.5k).

You also can get 10% discount at the bar, get a EUR 2,50 discount on sleeping arrangements, and you get EUR 990 on your account if you pay EUR 900 up front. If you are in a team which is comprised of (mostly) club members, and commit to a certain number of training jumps/yr, you can get a larger discount.

Every time I jump your place on the way to or from Grosse Pointe Farms we seem to get at least 10k regularly. If it doesn't vary frequently, you may still want to consider a block price, especially if you have some people who will commit to it to help with winter cash flow.

SDC sold a bunch of 100 jump blocks, partly because we couldn't resist the 2003 $14 lock-in rate for doing so (Otter to at least 13.5 much of the time). There are one or two other block rates that are less than the $20 rack rate, I believe.

I don't drink during the day, so I don't know what it is about this airline. I keep falling out the door of the plane.

we have a "buy more, pay less" deal.
its about
1 weekend jump = ~ $30
10 jumps = ~ $27 per jump
20 jumps = ~ $26 per jump
30 jumps = ~ $25 per jump
50 jumps = ~ $24 per jump

and so on...

So by this math, if you buy 240 tickets, are they down to $5/ticket??? If so, I'm on my way!!!:D
