I saw that too, but the more i look, it appears to be a camera flyer way low. I could be wrong.

It's not Norman because you can see him between one of the bottom whackers. If you look on the centerfold you can see Norman again and the "object" in question. It is a cmaera flyer. The article says there were 9 or 10 camera's on each jump. 7 are visible in the picture on p. 24. Norman and someone else obviously were under the formation for film coverage. It is unclear if Craig O'Brien was shooting from the air or the ground.
