packing employment?

hey all, was just wondering how hard it would be to do some packing at eloy ...sport or tandem , if anybody is from around that area, maybe they could enlighten me as to how it works out there, heirarchy etc....will be down there from mid feb, to mid april.....any help would be appreciated.....

Your best bet is to hook up with the Canadian Invasion. Start by talking with that rigger from Eden North: Aiden Walters.

I think that Eloy has a packing "union" you have to pay to pack there and get approval.

I'm not sure ,but i think the invasion is well over by then.....so I guess try to hook up with someone down there.......actually wouldn't mind taking a rigger course down there if one is available.....

The invasion finished this week
I believe Aidan will be down for a 4 way camp before spring.
It's my understanding that you have to be or work under the direct supervision of a senior rigger to be a packer.
If you want to get your ticket contact Sandy Reid at Rigging innovations he puts on courses.
there are signs all over the place at Eloy saying no unauthorized packing ( eg in the laundry room)
