1st Rig

I had about 35 jumps when I bought a used rig and ordered a new canopy. It's 15 jumps later and I expect the main to arrive next week. Time slowed to a crawl waiting for the canopy. I probably should have found a used one.

I test jumped the used gear I bought on jump 12, jumped it about 100 times and ordered a new one from Kate Cooper. Sold that 1st rig for exactly what I paid for it. It does'nt pay to buy new your first rig unless you don't jump much or plan on staying very conservative in downsizing.

i weigh 160 lbs. and i jumped a student gear (manta 288) first jump till #16 then went to student gear (falcon 235) untill #22 when i bought my sabre 150 had to re-finance my truck to pay for it but it's been worth it. i got a javelin container, sabre main, microraven reserve, and cypres with only 100 jumps for 3k.

My first rig (new by the way) was jumped on jump # 42 and today I've hit an interesting crossroads. I currently have 82 jumps (41 jumps with rental gear and 41 jumps with my gear).

I just bought mine and i'm at 13 jumps(including tandems).The DZO has it right now.I'll still be jumpimg the DZ's rigs till I get my A then I'll start using my own rig.I've got about 10 jumps left till then.
