aubsmell 0 #1 February 5, 2003 I'm just looking for some heads up opinions, I have my own favorites, which I'd be glad to share with anyone who asks, but I would like to know, if you could only go to one boogie this summer which one would it be? Anywhere, US, Europe, Australia, South America, or Africa?"Those who say it cannot be done, should not interrupt those who are doing it"

CanuckInUSA 0 #3 February 5, 2003 WFFC is a must on my calendar. But another two that I'm hoping to hit is the Lost Prairie and Couch Freak boogies. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
darkwing 5 #4 February 5, 2003 Lost Prairie. WFFC is too big and drunk for me. I have been there though. I guess it is the sort of thing that everyone should do once in their life. -- Jeff My Skydiving History
keskeie 0 #5 February 6, 2003 WFFC....though I haven't been there, yet. Haven't really even been to a summer boogie yet, though the "Jack, Off to Perris" boogie was awesome, as well as the Laughlin boogie....We were never feeling bored because we were never being boring. -Zelda Fitzgerald
Opie 0 #6 February 6, 2003 WFFC. Bring gear, money, aspirin.
flyangel2 2 #7 February 6, 2003 Depends on what you're looking for. I suggest asking yourself a few questions first. How many jumps do you have and how many canopies in the air do you feel comfortable with? What kind of landing area are you looking for, what kind of jump ships are you wanting to jump from, and how far do you want to travel? Each boogie offers something different. What ever one you decided on, be safe and have a good time.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey
grasshopper 0 #8 February 6, 2003 I am partial to the freedom jam at skydive oregon. I think it is the second weekend in august. it's a low key boogie, great facilities, awesome pond, fun competion for every discipline, and some of the nicest/coolest people I have ever met it the sport. Landing without injury is not necessarily evidence that you didn't fuck up... it just means you got away with it this time
