vidiot 0 #5 April 11, 2003 Hmmmh, if I read correctly the area has an elevation of ~4.000ft. That would make for 20000ft MSL!!! Is oxygen included in the ticket price? Or does the smiley mean it's 16k MSL? I guess I'd have to look for a larger canopy as well. 4k landing field elevation combined with 40°C will make for some 'interesting' landings... and/or some very long swoops :-)My Logbook

Gavin 0 #14 August 29, 2003 WOW 727 I am in the UK and would like to come out for the 727. I heard there was a previous occasion where another unamed club in SA promised a 727 and at the last moment it was declared a failure. I also think that they used this as a "pull" to get people to come to the boogie and that was not "kewl" Do you have paper work to prove that this is going to happen? Could you put this paper work on your websiteblueskies Gavin

PhoenixFire 0 #17 September 1, 2003 Hi - I am not sure that this is still going to happen and have been told that it may not, but nothing is deffinate To be honest I feel quite embarressed as I was asked to promote the site etc ... which I have been doing up until about 6 weeks ago ( because I was under the impression that it was happenning) However as mentioned before I am not one of the organisers , and have been told that the Organisers are going to sit down and discuss whether there is enough interrest and whether it will / won't happen. For more information please contact info@africanboogie.co.za I trully hope it does happen as the potential for it to be great is deffinatley there. I will Try and keep you posted as soon as I find out.Peace Be Da Journey
