Amazon 7 #1 May 19, 2003 I keep seeing all these DZ.Com record attempts at various places... What the heck is the NW record??? I only know a few of the DZ.Com types up here that jump at Kapowsin or Snohomish. I know that Skymama is going to be up here in June.. whats the chance of us getting some form of NW record... Huh huh Maybe a few of us could all get together one of these days. I for one would welcome meeting some of the people I have seen posting here. Amazon...The lady in red ( Rig, Jumpsuit, Truck). BoobieCootie 0 #2 May 19, 2003 Count me inl to jump with Skymama. BTW, Kapowsin will be organizing another night jump on May 31. Why not set 2 NW dz.com records? Night Jump and another when Skymama shows up?

skymama 37 #4 May 20, 2003 Check out the listings in The Pub. The records aren't really done by region, they are by the number of participants. We'd have to beat the current record of a 10-way, or whatever is done this weekend in Perris. Even if we don't get a record, we'll still have fun though. I'm counting on you all to show me some fun on Saturday night too! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
dsbbreck 0 #5 May 20, 2003 10 way? Is that it? Hey Coloradan's, how about we try to break that record during the Casa Boogie at Mile Hi. Most of us will be there that weekend anyway.David "Socrates wasn't killed because he had the answer.......he was killed because he asked the question." Amazon 7 #6 May 20, 2003 I will see if I can get some of the lurkers from Snohomish to come down for that. I know they are out there......Lurking in the shadows.....Come on guys... lets go jump out of the big airplane...weekend of the 21st of June when Skymama will be up here. Meet some of the other DZ.com folks. I think I owe a few cases of beer for first something jumps anyway.First Otter Jump there last month... First Caravan jump there on Sun. Amazon. skymama 37 #7 May 20, 2003 Quote10 way? Is that it? Yep, that is until the Perris Boogie this weekend. We'll see what they come up with. Just remember that if you want to break the record, all participants have to be registered dz.com users who have posted in some way to the forums. So, if you're thinking about certain people you know would be good on a record attempt, you have to get them to do a post first. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

dsbbreck 0 #9 May 21, 2003 What kind of proof do we need to make it official. I've never tried to organize a record. Is this one pretty casual?David "Socrates wasn't killed because he had the answer.......he was killed because he asked the question."

I don't know if we can beat that 15 way, but we'll sure have some fun anyway, I'm sure. Zenister 0 #15 May 26, 2003 Quote Oh.... I have to add.... If you have never jumped up here before you may just sight see on the way down.. Mt Rainier is just to the east and is an awsume sight. . she isnt kidding!! my first full altitude jump at Kapow was a beautiful clear day and i went out solo to play on my head..did a couple of 360's to look around and then COMPLETELY ZONED out facing Rainer until my protrack (first alarm) woke me from my reviere... I had never been in freefall so close to something that large..its absolutely incredible.. not good i was kicking myself under canopy..should have checked alti at least once between 13.0 and 5.0 heres a screen cap i made from a vid andy shot during a tracking dive...and it simply doesnt do justice to Rainer..____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. Amazon 7 #16 May 27, 2003 Great Picture Zen.. but man it just does not convey the actual being there. Mt Rainier to the East. the rest of the Cascades.. and Puget sound out to the West and North. Up at Snohomish we only get the measly 10 to 11,000 ft peaks Mt Baker and Glacier Peak with even more of the Puget Sound view. Heck on a night jump I could even see the lights of Victoria BC and the whole Seattle- Everett metro area which even was cool with all the darkness of the Sound outlined with city lights.
