clint 1 #1 November 11, 2003 Hello, GRAND OPENING DAY IS SAT, NOV. 15, 2003 Thanks to Go Fast Sports and Skydive New England were finally going to be OPEN!! Free GO Fast Energy Drinks all weekend long. So when your on your way out to Moab to BASE Jump bring your skydiving rig also for those winded out days! We've all been on a wind hold sometime in Moab. You get to skydive over moab, this will be a first for almost everyone! My name is Clint MacBeth and I along with Mike Carpenter(DZO Skydive New England) and my wife Shelley, and the help of Jimmy and Marta Vertigo Base Outfitters and Go Fast Sports, we are opening a DZ in Moab, Utah. It will be a USPA drop zone!! For the first year or so. We will have Skydive New England's C-182 and will be open Fri. Sat and Sun 10am 'til sunset for this Winter, with appointments possible during the week. Mostly tandems with all fun jumpers more than welcome! We will have the C-182 for the Turkey Boogie, taken off from Mineral Bottom. Jumps will be $20 and we'll be going to 3500-4000'. Depending on how big the landing area will be there will be a required # of skydives to jump into Mineral Bottom. We'll know more later this week. If you're coming out or bringing a non-BASE but skydiving friend, they can have a bunch of fun too! Swooping the cliffs! Everyone wants to do this but we(Jimmy and I) will be hand picking people for obvious reasons. SO if you don't get approached please don't be offended. There will be a landing area picked out at the bottom of Mineral Bottom. Again we are opening Sat, Nov. 15 "The most beautiful place in America!!!" Want to see Moab from the air? See you at the Thankgiving Boogie!
