You can discount the issue and say to move on but that isn't likely to change anything. I don't disagree with what Mike is saying but if you really want to make changes you have to understand why the procedures exist and find ways to have them changed.

We have AAD's, so jumpers can not worry about that....
We have riggers so jumpers don't have to worry about that....
We have packers so jumpers don't have to worry about that....
And now we have pilots so we don't have to worry about that....

Try trusting your pilot when you jump up exiting a 182?

I don't give a fuck what the pilot does, I can hit the tail of a: 182, 206, etc, PAC, DH-6, and especially a King Air whenever I fucking want to...


REGARDLESS OF ITS FUCKING CONFIGURATION!


So take the idea that the pilot is going to save your ass and shove it in deep....:(
But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump."
