IMGR2 0 #1 March 9, 2004 3RD ANNUAL GRAVITY RATS FREEFLY REVOLUTION May 14-16, 2004 In an effort to promote team freeflying, the Gravity Rats Freefly Team is hosting an intermediate competition May 14-16, 2004. The competition will consist of team freeflying and team sitflying. The registration fee is $25 per person for the first event then $10 for every event there after. Competitors should be of the intermediate experience level with at least one team member having less than 1000 freefly jumps. Camera flyers will be available as needed. You know you want to compete... REQUIRED TO COMPETE -Safe Freefly Skills -Visual Altimeter -Audible Altimeter -Helmet -Freefly Friendly Container -Entrance Fee -Good Attitude -Sucking up to Shannon isn't required, but it doesn't hurt TEAM FREEFLYING EVENT -Teams consists of three persons (two flyers; one videographer) -All aspects of human flight are permissible -At least one competitor must demonstrate head down flying skills -Competition consists of two free rounds and one compulsory round -Compulsory maneuvers: HD single hand dock exit, 69, Spock, and dual 360's (any orientation) TEAM SITFLYING EVENT -Team consists of three persons (two sitflyers; one videographer) -Two sitflyers must maintain heads up position throughout routine, including exit -Transitions are permissible so long as sitflyers return to a heads up position after transition completed -Competition consists of two free rounds and one compulsory round -Compulsory maneuvers: toe to toe, dual 360's, and hand to foot BONUS T-shirts, Saturday night party, band, beer, food, tracking contest on Sunday, fun jumps after competition... what more do you people want???
