moretole 0 #3 May 3, 2004 skydive Nelson is brilliant (motueka, top part of the south island). Went there in Feb and i had a great time. I had only just completed AFF and they were happy to spend time with me and got me on solo consuls after one check out jump. I felt like a 'local' after just a few days! The view is amazing and that part of New Zealand is meant to get the most sunshine per year out of the whole country.
