scottjaco 0 #1 May 7, 2004 Does anyone have any pics of this place? There aren't any on the website. Has anyone jumped there? what is the landing area like?
huntin4rabbitt 0 #2 May 8, 2004 Scott, We have a 10,000 sqr ft hanger on the Brown Municipal Airport. We land on 80 acres of cleared farmland...I can e-mail a photo of the landing area to you if you would like. I tried to upload it but am having trouble. No pics on my computer, but its very big and very open. I landed one mile out once once without a problem. Short ride back to the hangar, but nothing is perfect. I highly recommend doing a night jump there if you get the chance. Its incredible - inbetween the lights of Mexico and downtown San Diego.

sabregrl 0 #5 May 12, 2004 Skydive So Cal is planning on doing night jumps on Memorial Day weekend. A boogie is planned with a band or DJ and a barbeque. It is a safe place to do night jumps because there are little to no obstacles and it's easy to triangulate the landing area between the lights of Mexico and the red lights bordering the mountains. There will probably be lights out there (if nothing else, car lights) lighting up the landing area.
