plummeteer 0 #1 May 21, 2004 I'm going to be in Winter Haven 5/24-5/29. Am going to take a day to skydive, won't know which day until a day or maybe 2 before, will likely be during the week. I know Lake Wales is very close, Z-Hills not far, and Titusville somewhat farther. Where would there be a better chance of finding people to possibly fly with (I'm a belly flyer)? Thanks, Mark Edo Concumbui Aethrae Cernuare
darkwing 5 #2 May 21, 2004 I'm a ig Lake Wales fan, but Deland is close too. Closer than Titusville (of which I am also a fan). Heck, they are all fine. -- Jeff My Skydiving History
Stacy 0 #3 May 21, 2004 zhills is usually pretty big on RW. Not sure about during the week though, as I'm usually working...
 skymama 37 #4 May 21, 2004 Bear in mind that this time of year is the slow season for Florida dz's. I've never been to the dz's you listed during the week but I do know Deland usually has a plane flying every day. It's hard to say who might be available to jump with you though. Lake Wales and Z-hills are definitely closer. I would just give them a call on the day you are looking to jump and see what's going on.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
 bendywendy 0 #5 May 21, 2004 DeLand will be flying everyday, I'm sure. Sebastian is flying everyday but Tuesday and we've had lots of students so have been jumping very regularly. I'll keep notes on the day's open and such y'all have given me, then call when I know what day, going to try and work it out for Fri. or maybe Sat. But have to do things while I'm there that I don't have control over. I'm so glad someone from Lake Wales is posting! We have regulars on here from most of the other dz's, but not Lake Wales. So many people ask questions about the various dropzones in FL, I hope we'll hear from you some more about what's going on there. Plummeteer, Lake Wales is a nice dropzone.
