RkyMtnHigh 0 #1 May 24, 2004 I would like some coach jumps in the very near future and would like to be in contact with coaches from Gold Coast, Skydive Alabama, Skydive Atlanta, ZHills, etc. Know anyone? _________________________________________
BigM 2 #2 May 24, 2004 What type coaching are you looking for... RW? Freefly? I just spent the weekend at Skydive Atlanta and there are plenty of qualified people there, but they get so busy, catching one can be difficult. I am a coach at Monroe. It is normally a little easier getting one that's available there. Blue 111- Jeff "When I die, I want to go like my grandmother, who died peacefully in her sleep. skymama 37 #3 May 24, 2004 Don't know about the others, but Deland has Scott Miller for canopy control, a freefly school and Skydive U for RW.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

Usually they also do AFF, Tandems or Video as well and those are moneymakers which make it near impossible to get coach jumps _________________________________________
Stacy 0 #5 May 24, 2004 Bunch of RW coaches at ZHills- Bob (Rob-bob)Healy, Ron (aka *Ron* on here), Sally Hathaway, Boxman... the list goes on. I'm not as into the freefly scene, but there is a freefly school there. Give manifest a call and they'll set you up with something or give you contacts. these people aren't simply *USPA coaches*, but well known competitors. The ones I've worked with in that bunch also offer tunnel coaching, which is sometimes more effective than paying for a bunch of jumps if you want a steeper learning curve... RkyMtnHigh 0 #6 May 24, 2004 Thanks a million Stacy! You're awesome! (Vinny doesn't know it yet...but...) I'm heading out that way by mid-June for interviews...I'm sure a PM will be on the way shortly from the lil Tequila Monster. _________________________________________
Topcat 0 #7 May 24, 2004 I'm the de facto head of the coaching program at Skydive Alabama. What type of coaching are you looking for? We just graduated a passle of coaches just itching for victims - er, students. We also have RW coaches and I know a bunch of freefliers who love to work with new people. -Sandy
DavidKing 0 #8 May 24, 2004 We would love to see you at Skydive Alabama, we have qualified coaches for all disciplines and skill levels. David
JRock 0 #9 May 24, 2004 Atlanta Skydiving Center... Nate Gilbert.... Very good freeflyer. Ask for prices but I think you only pay $5 for his slot. He has an AD-C license.
Ron 10 #10 May 24, 2004 For Freefly you can check out Pip, Colon, Martin...ect. http://www.totalbodypilot.com/ For RW you have a good list already. As for me, If I am not training/competing/coaching 4way, I charge only lift and pack jobs... Oh, and some diet cokes.
