Lizard 0 #1 June 3, 2004 Me and some friends are headed to Germany for 3 weeks. July 17th through Aug 7th... We will be flying into Frankfurt and staying in Kaiserslaughtern and we plan on bringing our rigs with us. Where is a good place to jump that is within that area? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Chrisky 0 #2 June 4, 2004 From Frankfurt, Breitscheid is the nearest turbine DZ IIRC. You might want to check out Skydiver.de for a map of most german DZs. HTH.The mind is like a parachute - it only works once it's open. From the edge you just see more. ... Not every Swooper hooks & not every Hooker swoops ... Lizard 0 #3 June 4, 2004 Thank you
 BarbaraKobzik 0 #4 June 4, 2004 Hi, Depending on the kind of jumping you prefer, it might be worth to drive two hours. Hoexter (www.fscdaedalus.de) is one of the best dzs for belly flyers. There is also Schweighofen and Luetzelinden in about 1 hours drive, and Kassel Calden in about 2 hours. Kassel is more commercial, Hoexter is rather a club atmosphere. A friend of mine from Frankfurt just sent me a mail that he looks for people to jump with, you may want to contact him; he also can give you more detailed information. If you want to do so, just send me a mail to barbarakobzik@hotmail.com. But since the DZO did not manage to charter a turbine like he used to and bought a 206 instead, as well as me moving away i didn't get there a lot in the last 3 years.
