sundevil777 102 #27 June 17, 2003 But we should make them get about 20 wraps of duct tape around their ankles Gear is just way too good for students now, we should use things like this to make them suffer.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

Frodo 0 #32 June 18, 2003 QuoteThe video's that are a few directories up (several SCARY ASS HALL low-pulls) scared me waayyyy more then this one...Exactly! Have you seen this one? Scary, huh?
tibby 0 #33 June 18, 2003 I see also this: when she reaches for the pilotchute she moves her upper arm parallel to her body, instead of keeping it in an angled position away from her body. Then you can see her arm stretch towards her feet when she pulls, and her fist is then almost touching her calf. Then the pilotchute unfolds (almost?) against her calf and her foot. The bridle is pulled in the same direction (like a tail above/between the legs) and then, pulled forward again when she brings her arm back to an angled position, forming a perfect loop to fall around her ankle. My 2cts theory.. Nice to hear she made it; I kind of freaked when i saw her passing...

mcrocker 0 #36 June 21, 2003 Been there, done that. Had the exact same thing happen to me last year. Dove out of a 182, dumped unstable and had the bridle, lines, spaghetti, pile o' shit wrapped around my right leg. Luckily the bag spun up so much the main never came out. I cut-away and went to reserve. I landed under a nice clean reserve with the mess still attached to my foot. Bag still had 2 of 4 locking stows intact. Scary, I don't know how I would have handled it if I was a student. -Matt
