RkyMtnHigh 0 #1 July 3, 2004 I went to Emerald Coast today to "check it out" because it was about the same driving distance for me as Gold Coast. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. They have a large landing area with few hazards. To sum it up, it's "cozy". Tomorrow they will have 4 way RW scrambles which I may just have to join in on, plus go on my pre-2nd beach jump at the infamous Flora-Bama. Then, at the end of the day a BBQ. RkyMtnHigh 0 #3 July 6, 2004 EC was really friendly. This weekend I had many Pre2nds as far as freefly skills and landings. Experienced jumpers were open to jumping with me and helping me learn a new skill, which was kuhl. I chickened out on the beach jump on the 4th because it was packed with cabanas and umbrellas and I didn't want to go "sunbather bowling" with my canopy.
