College weekend

Recommended Posts

Hey, I'm trying to plan a college weekend/back to school boogie at my home DZ (carolina sky sports). I'm thinking 4-way scrambles (3 rounds). A basic CReW camp. The idea is a weekend of the sport as a whole. There will be RW and freefly organizers.

If anyone has any imput on when.... i'm thinking maybe the last weekend in august... is that too close to rantoul? will everyone be burnt out and broke? or is that good to just keep that energy going?

Hey Em:
Have you contacted Jackson with regards to the crew camp? Also see if the teams that train at CSS are available for that weekend to be on the scrambles teams. I know that we arent training that weekend, but dont know how available the other members are.

What is going on the next weekend? You could do a labour day scrambles on the Monday. I know the Foxes are training that Sat and Sunday, so we will all be around on the Monday.

Let me know if you need any help with this, ok?
Keep spreading the joy girlie:)

Hello --

Looking forward to being there with you and others to share some CRW Basics!

If there is anyone that you didn't have an opportunity to include please let them know about it too.

Thanks for asking me to spend the time with you all.

Take Care,
Frank

PS --I'm going to have some of the Canopy Formation Team shirts that survived the Hurricane in LW available for contributions to the team. They are leaving for Croatia soon.

Hi Dawn,

My pleasure! You were all A+ CRW newbie/students and a blast to have been with along with my CRW buddies that jumped in to assist. Your enthusiasm and great attitudes made coaching so much more fun and I'd like to credit all of you for being as responsive and "natural" to CRW as you were!

Congrats on the 4-stack awards and thank you all for making it so easy for me to teach you!

Send me your group photos also, ok?

Take Care,
Frank

Hello also to our event "hostess" Emily and to the other particpants --Jen, Eric, Matt as well as CRW "brothers" Jackson, Jimbo, Steve and Jens.

Btw, get the word around that there is opportunity for me to repeat this again with some advanced scheduling and there is another beginner camp that I am doing at Skydive Carolina in Chester, SC in a few weeks --See their site for details!

hey frank,
Definately thanks again for coming down.. and to jackson, steve, jimbo and jens for helping out. It was an absolute blast... and i hope it shows that CRW isn't as dangerous as people make it out to be. I hope your camp goes well next weekend. I don't believe i will be able to make it... but i appreciate the invite.

I'm thrilled that we got our 4-stack awards and i'll send you the pictures that i have by email. Thanks again for coming down... and to my new CRW pups: You guys were AWESOME!!! :) (Jen, Dawn, Eric, Matt)

Em
