Aerograd (Russia) or Empuria ? August

Recommended Posts

To those that've done both Aerograd and Empuria....How do they compare ??

Price and planes (+helicopter) look great, what's the catch? What about nightlife ??

I trust it won't be under 4 foot of snow at the end of august !!

I've never been to Aerograd but I have been to Empuria in August... weather was great but the town was absolutely packed with German tourists, the accommodation was at least double the normal price and it was a complete nightmare finding anywhere to stay in the first place!

I'm trying! (need a 'WIZARD' emoticon here :)

Last weekend was too rainy, only 20-25 loads on Saturday and about 15 in Sunday :(
But now, sun is shining and I think 'f...ng WORK DAY! why do I have to sit here when others are jumping there!'

Never been to Empuria but just got back from three weeks at Kolomna and had a great time.

Weather has been a bit iffy at times but when it's good it's a great DZ. Weekend before last I think there was about 60 loads on Saturday B|

Nigtlife at the DZ depends on who's there on any given night. It's very differnt to the UK - where every night involves some sort of drinking!

There are a couple of clubs in the town itself but (unless you speak Russian) you need to be with a crowd to have a really good time! Or drink extra Vodka ;)
