skybytch 273 #1 July 17, 2004 It is truly the end of an era. Casa Waller has seen numerous famous skydivers passed out on the floor, by the pool and in the tiki bar over the years. Soon, very soon... it's all over. Wendy is moving out of the coolest party house ever at the beginning of August. Not all hope is lost though. Those who know have one last chance to take advantage of Wendy's hospitality and party again at Casa Waller. Those who don't know really should be there too. Seriously. You don't want to miss this. Come out to Skydive Sebastian on July 30th for the Last Dance at Casa Waller. Jump all day, and even into the night if you want to (night jumps are scheduled for an hour after sunset Saturday night). Hit and chug; prizes provided by The Drop Shop. Sunset cross countrys (if you haven't opened high at Sebastian, you've missed out. Bring a throwaway camera). The Tiki Bar at the DZ will be open until the night jumps have landed, then it's off to Casa Waller for the balance of the evening's festivities. As always, the finest tequila shots will be done poolside. The (screened in to keep out those nasty insects) pool will be available for clothed, suited or nekkid swimming - please be sure that cell phones, soluable substances & cameras are not on your person when near the pool area. Jello shots (of course!). And who knows what else... this is Casa Waller we're talking about!! Floor space, some padded, and blankets will be available for all inebrients to pass out on. Plan to wake up there Sunday morning if you'll be drinking much. I'll be there. Heck, I wouldn't miss it. You should be there too. bendywendy 0 #2 July 17, 2004 Oh yeah, it's official but it ain't over till it's over! I'm thinking that a couple days of special jump ticket prices are in order for this. Would you guys like to see a small discounted price (like a couple dollars off a jump) or maybe a package of 10 jumps for $15.00 each to be used from Friday - Sunday (and we can have a change over fee so that unused tickets aren't wasted). Tell me what you want to see happen and we'll make it work! For those of you who have been to the last few events where we've had fireworks - you know it's a good show. If everyone wants to donate something to the fireworks fund - we'll try to make it even bigger & better than the last time. (By the time we get around to the bytch boogie -we'll be putting on bigger firework shows than most towns for the 4th.) get in your favorite requests for jello shot flavors and do we want another kick ass BBQ??? Let's GO BIG!! Anyone know any DJ's or bands? Oh get the requests for the beds, couches & futon in early. There is one king size available, one twin, one double futon (very comfy), 1 regular couch, 1 extra long couch with recliners on either end. So what is the scoop Wendy.... Just ditching the house but staying local or are you leaving us all together? And any sort of jump ticket deal sounds like a plan to me!!! bendywendy 0 #9 July 21, 2004 Well, it's about time! No I'm not running away. I know it's hard to believe. This is the longest I've lived in one place since the last time I was married! I'm staying in Sebastian, kind of - moving across the line into Micco. I'm trading the pool & tiki bar for a fenced in yard for Kuma. I've been feeling very guilty about those long days she has to stay at the house now that dogs can't come to the dz. So my little Methane boys, you'll still have a place to stay. It's one thing to be missing the night jumps (a bit upset about that ), but the last blowout at Casa Waller and discounted jump tickets . I don't mind this staying small at all since now that I'll be going to Rantoul - I've got major pressure getting that crap all together & moving & cleaning the old place. So smaller & more intimate will be just fine by me. For those who make the effort to come & jump that weekend though - if they know the password they can have $15.00 jumps all weekend. Please tell me that it's an all-weekend affair or something! I'll be there Saturday as early in the day as I can, do a few jumps and then jump also on Sunday.
