There are two DZs close to Vancouver, Pitt Meadows and Abbotsford. Pitt has a King Air and Cessnas, Abbotsford has a Porter and Cessnas. I usually jump at Pitt, as it is easier to reach by public transport (i don't have a car). Quite some Freefliers at the place, very friendly atmosphere plus amazing scenery.
Mountains, the sea and the city... unbeatable.
Abbotsford is a nice place too, had a good time there during the Otter Boogie this weekend.

Btw it would be nice if you added a little personal info about you, so one doesn't feel like talking to a "nobody".:)

There are a few dz's in South Africa and two in the Cape Town area.

1- Skydive Cape Town www.skydivecapetown.za.net this is a full time 7 day a week operation with multiple aircraft. Beautiful views of Cape Town. About 45 minute drive from city.

2- Skydive Citrusdal www.skydive.co.za this is a weekend operation which is run as a club - always has a excellent atmosphere and surroundings! About 1 hour 20 minute drive from city.

Give Both a try has they are very different, but both will give you a good timeB|

Happy travels

A little info about myself, it is kind of funny actually. I just started jumping about nine months ago because one of my friends was in the air force test chute program. I just finished my A because I am busy but the funny part is I recently sold out the ski\snowboard bum life for a "real job" behind a desk and I make great money but it has been a year or so and I am about to sell everything I own and get back to reality some how. I just don't know how yet, I have been jumping almost everyday lately so I have a feeling this and BASE will consume my life the same way racing snowboards did for many years. In a nut shell I am going to be seeing alot more of you other jumpers out there, drop zone life here I come. Corporate america can kiss my ass!!!!!!!!!! Anybody out there make a living jumping:ph34r:
