a97virago 0 #1 August 10, 2004 I just want to say that my friend and I were there Monday July 26th. We only made one jump, but everyone there was fantastic! It was the weekend of the 100 way in Orange and things were a little chaotic in Lebanon. But through it all, Mama Sue kept her cool! There were about 17 tandems that she was trying to get up in the air, without the Otter (yee gads!) But she still made sure that my buddy and me were going to get on a load as soon as she could! It looked like it might be a while, but that's ok, everyone was very cool, very relaxed, what a great vibe! Well, turned out, the Cessna was being taken out of service. What? No plane? Might as well leave, right? Not a chance! Within 30 minutes, Mike was back with the Otter for two quick loads. So we got our jump! And while we were packing up, preparing to call it a day, Mike hollers over from the truck. "Where you guys from?" "NY", we tell him. "Wanna come to Orange with us?" What? offering us a lift to Orange, how cool is that. If we didn't have plans that evening, you bet your A$$ we would have gone! I guess I'm just not used to people going so far out of their way for perfect strangers (well, nobody's perfect!) I said it before and I'll say it again, what a great DZ. Thanks to Mama Sue, Mike, Jonei, John, Wildman, Lauren and all the rest for making our one jump with you guys warm, welcoming and a lot of fun!
